Job Description
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking model-based systems engineering approach for a submarine platform. By joining the team, you will play a crucial part in integrating complex systems to support whole boat operations. Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain requirements, architectures, and system designs for complex technical systems
Generate SysML views to capture interactions between complex systems within the submarine
Support the full utilisation and development of model-based systems engineering artifacts across a portfolio of products
Expand, elaborate, and own key system design elements and associated systems engineering products to drive customer success
Work with cross-functional teams to define system functions, requirements, and design elements for optimal performance in constrained technical environments
Decompose complex designs into understandable components for further elaboration and development
Support the execution of the full project lifecycle, from planning through implementation to operational readiness
Job Requirements:
Hold a degree or equivalent qualification within a STEM field
Strong familiarity with SysML
Experience using Model Based System Engineering toolsets such as Enterprise Architect
Understanding of Systems Engineering and Systems thinking
Familiarity with the Engineering System Lifecycle and related processes (specifically processes mentioned in ISO/IEC 15288)
