Job Description
Principal Mechanical Design Engineers
Role Requirements:
A Degree, HND, or HNC in Mechanical Design or a related field, with significant experience in Mechanical Design and Development.
Ability to lead mechanical design tasks and work within multi-disciplinary teams.
Knowledge of proving and qualification activities to ensure compliance.
Strong experience using design methods like DFMEA, DFA, and DFM.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence others.
Experience working with suppliers and internal/external teams.
Awareness of cultural differences and the ability to adapt.
A positive, professional attitude with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
Knowledge of structural, thermal, or dynamic analysis is a plus.
Experience with 3D CAD/CAE (training will be provided for preferred tools).
Some travel within the UK and occasionally to Europe may be required.
