Principle Transport Planner

Location: Birmingham

Salary: Up to £55,000PA

40 Hour week / Life insurance / Profit plans / Pension / Medical Insurance / + Many more perks!

Accept Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be supporting our client who is an established construction and civil engineering consultancy in Birmingham with over 30 years' in the industry.

Due to growth of business they are looking for a Principle Transport Planner and this would be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner.

Key Responsibilities

  * Prepare transport assessments and statements

  * Preparation of travel plans and coordination

  * Preparation and presentation of drawings and technical data

  * Undertaking junction capacity assessments using PICADY, LINSIG etc

  * Liaise with clients, contractors and local councils and authorities etc

  * Work collaboratively within a team and work alongside junior members of the team and checking their workload

  * Undertake site appraisals and site visits designing surveys, through to providing input to written reports and presentational material

Key Requirements:

  * Degree in Civil Engineering or similar / Transport planning etc

  * 5 + Years' experience of UK transport planning standards and processes

  * MCIHT

  * Previous experience using AUTOCAD or similar

  * Work experience with strong understanding of ARCADY / LINSIG etc
