A leading manufacturer working across diverse sectors is urgently seeking a skilled Finisher to join their team. This role focuses on finishing work for GRP and 3D printed materials, ensuring products meet high-quality standards through expert surface preparation and coating application.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare GRP, metal, and other surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and repair.
Identify and correct surface defects including cracks, dents, and print lines.
Apply primers, sealers, and topcoats using spraying, brushing, or rolling techniques.
Sand and buff surfaces to achieve a smooth, professional finish.
Inspect and correct finishing defects before final approval.
Safely handle tools, chemicals, and follow PPE and workshop safety protocols.Requirements:
2-5 years of finishing experience, particularly with GRP and metal surfaces.
Strong skills in sanding, buffing, and coating application.
Experience in automotive, marine, or aerospace sectors is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently with a keen eye for detail and quality.Contract Details:
Short-term contract with potential for extension.
Immediate start required.
