Position: Print Finisher/Printer – Large Format Print
Area: Middlesex
Salary: £27,000 to £32,000 (NDO)
The Company:
Large Format print & graphics company, specialising in design, print and installation projects for TV, Film, Events and retail display
The Role:
* Accurately prepare finish, laminate and mount large format print using a variety of machines and substrates
* Set up and operate finishing machinery and when required printing machinery
* Finish various materials, i.e., large format prints and vinyl and signage for a range of different projects from retail, events, sets and exhibitions etc.
* To inspect and examine printed materials for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet the client's specifications and requirements and to report any issues to management
* Ensure jobs are packed correctly for despatch
* Load and unload Company Vehicles
* Operate Vinyl Plotters
* Work to Company & client and site Health and Safety procedures
* Undertake quality control of finished items to ensure they meet standards and to report any issues to management
* Help with online orders and packaging ready for despatch
Requirements:
* This role requires technical knowledge of digital printers & finishing equipment
* English and Maths to GCSE standard (A-C)
* A’ level / NVQ level 3 standard
* Managing projects from manufacturing to finishing
* Experience using CNC machine, mounting, laminating, guillotine, laser cutter, large format digital printers
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
* Previous knowledge of working within a large format print production environment
* Positive attitude and a true passion for the industry & print technology
* Ideally you will be looking to progress and develop existing print skillsBefore You Apply
