Private Client Legal Secretary

JS Legal Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary to work on a full-time basis for a solicitor’s based in Billericay. The position has a varied role covering Wills, Probates, LPAs, Estate Accounts.

As a Private Client Legal Secretary you will provide secretarial support to a Private Client Solicitor.

The Role

  * You will provide full secretarial support to a Solicitor

  * Using digital dictation system to produce correspondence related to private client maters

  * Diary management

  * Meeting with clients to witness execution of client’s wills/documents

  * Wills- Typing and managing documentation

  * Probates – assisting with correspondence , documentation

  * LPAs- preparing forms, liaising with clients, and maintain records

  * Front office reception duties meeting and greeting clients , booking appointments managing incoming / outgoing post

  * Typing letters, forms, LPAs, and court of protection applications

  * Maintaining and updating client records and databases

  * Managing diaries, arranging appointments

Skills and Experience

  * Previous Private Client Secretary experience essential

  * Accurate typing skills including digital audio systems

  * Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel ,Outlook

  * Confident and professional in dealing with clients

  * Strong attention to detail

  * Pleasant working environment

  * Hours Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm
