Salary c £50,000 per annum (negotiable in line with PQE)
About the Firm and the Private Client Team
This well-established, growth-focused law firm has significantly strengthened its regional presence in recent years — including two strategic acquisitions — resulting in a robust and increasing volume of private client work across its expanding office network.
This is a key time to come on board. The firm is investing in its newest office in Banbury town centre, and they're looking for an experienced senior private client solicitor who’s ready to take a lead role and help shape the team’s future in this location.

As a senior hire, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the direction of the department locally, contribute to strategic decision-making, and build strong client relationships with the support of an established infrastructure.
The wider Private Client team is headed by a senior solicitor and Director, recognised in the Legal 500 and known for a collaborative, mentoring-led approach. You'll have the benefit of working alongside respected professionals, while also enjoying a high degree of autonomy to manage your own caseload of complex and high-value matters.

What’s involved?
Managing a caseload of private client matters including Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney
Dealing with Administration of Estates
Attending to clients in the office or in their homesWho we’re looking for:
Suitable candidates are likely to have:
Qualified status – solicitor or chartered legal executive, with 2-3 years’ or more PQE
Sound experience of running a private client caseload including wills and probate matters, inheritance tax planning and estate administration
Excellent communication skills and the ability to treat clients with sensitivityWhat’s on offer?
This is a full-time permanent job, working 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)
Homeworking will be accommodated 2 days per week, following initial onboarding period
