Job Description
Our Client is a growing firm where you can gain exposure to various clients both large and small. You will be working closely with experienced Accountants and partners.
The Private Client Tax Team works with a huge variety of clients from SME business owners to high-net-worth individuals, ensuring their compliance obligations are met. Our client builds relationships with clients, talking to them about all aspects of their financial affairs, getting involved in advisory assignments where relevant. They are constantly striving to improve how they work, refining processes within the team and taking advantage of the newest technology to support them in the way they interact with their clients.
They think the team operates best togesther so being upfront, work from home doesn’t really work for them, they are happy to be flexible (it’s part of our ethos) and consider reduced hours and job shares and they will support you to balance your work and life.
* You’ll be given a degree of autonomy in the delivery of your work but they will always be available to support you where necessary.
* You’ll be working on straightforward assignments, taking ownership of your own portfolio of clients, with support from the Manager
* You’ll be preparing tax returns and computations for assistant manager / manager review in conjunction with agreed timescales.
* You’ll interact directly with your clients, developing an effective relationship as a trusted adviser and giving excellent client service.
* You’ll take responsibility for driving the tax return process for your clients, working proactively to manage your portfolio and prioritising day-to-day tasks This role is key to the operation of our private tax function, so we’ll make sure you’re given opportunities to learn and develop to maintain the required high standards.
* You’ll be a proactive and valued member of a specialist team and will have the opportunity to develop an internal network within the tax department and the wider firm.
