Probation officer for reset HUB team
Pay: £28.63 ltd per hour (umbrella pay rate) or PAYE equivalent of £20.52 PAYE per hour
Location: Guildford
Case management – managing those cases who have had their supervision suspended and undertaking reactive case management re; responding to queries, phone calls or information from other agencies. I am putting together a briefing about this to explain what is needed. In essence it involves risk assessment skills, maybe phoning the service user, liaison with other agencies etc; there is no face to face work, but contact is by phone only where required.
Undertaking all enforcement actions on the caseload – ensuring enforcement's are carried out daily, this could include writing breach reports, or progress reports for Court. Ensuring enforcement action is taken swiftly.
Assessments: this will include completing OASys, reset OASys and terminations in a timely manner. Reviewing OASys if there is a change in risk. It will also include UPW assessments, housing referrals or other referrals if required.
Report writing – breach reports, progress reports, possibly ad hoc parole reports for the PDU if required.
Responding to Unpaid Work queries and Home Office cases. this could involve the UPW assessment, enforcement and ensuring someone is working their hours. Or returning an Order to Court to extend the UPW hours and writing the report. Regarding the Home Office, this can involve ensuring address checks are done, an assessment made regarding release etc;
