Job Description

We are seeking a Process Engineer - Electrode Manufacture & Scale Up to support the scale‑up of battery electrode coating processes. This role involves operating a reel‑to‑reel scale‑up line, conducting experiments, preparing samples, analysing data and contributing to formulation development. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure project deliverables align with wider technical goals and milestones.   The Process Engineer - Electrode Manufacture & Scale Up will: Operate reel‑to‑reel scale‑up equipment for electrode coating. Prepare, mix and characterise electrode slurries and coatings. Carry out routine testing, data collection and analysis. Summarise findings and present technical results to management and engineering teams. Maintain and update standard operating procedures, ensuring safe and compliant laboratory practices. Assist in equipment upkeep, calibration and supply management.   The Process Engineer - Electrode Manufacture & Scale Up will have: Degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related discipline. Hands‑on experience working within a scientific or technical laboratory environment. Strong communication, organisational and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving setting. Motivation to learn and develop a wide range of laboratory and process skills.
