Process Engineer
Hybrid (West London) | £45K–£55K + Equity + Benefits
We’re hiring on behalf of an innovative clean energy start-up developing novel electrolyser technology. As they scale from demonstrator to commercial systems, they’re looking for a Process Engineer to support the design, safety, and performance of their systems.
What you’ll be doing:
Develop process flowsheets (PFDs), P&IDs, and mass/energy balances
Design and size equipment, valves, and instrumentation
Contribute to safety and risk assessments (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA)
Support procurement, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Work closely with partners, vendors, and internal tech teams
Help scale systems from lab to pilot and commercial levels
What we’re looking for:
Master’s degree (or above) in Chemical/Process Engineering
3+ years in process design (hydrogen, chemical, nuclear, or similar sectors)
Strong safety focus and systems-level thinking
Proactive mindset with excellent communication skills
Bonus if you have:
Experience with hydrogen, water electrolysis, or supercritical water
Familiarity with Aspen, HYSYS, Unisim or CFD tools
Chartered status or working towards it
