Process Engineering Specialist – Senior Role in Oil & Gas Projects
Step into a pivotal role with a leading Oil & Gas operator in Qatar as a Process Engineering Specialist. Required Skills:
Proven expertise in process engineering within the oil and gas sector
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex engineering issues efficiently
Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to process design and analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to develop and update policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements
Experience coordinating with external contractors, FEED and EPC teams, ensuring alignment with project specifications
Capability to plan, organize, and monitor project phases to meet deadlines and budgetsNice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in brownfield project execution and managing multi-disciplinary engineering tasks
Familiarity with Project Management Systems and standards in oil and gas projects
Leadership experience supporting and mentoring junior engineers and cross-functional teams
Knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and environmental standards in QatarPreferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Process Engineering or related discipline)
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least 4 years in a lead or senior process engineering roleOther Requirements:
Ability to work within a multinational team and liaise effectively with external stakeholders
Willingness to adhere to project schedules with an anticipated start date in 2026
