Northwick Power is an affiliate of Air Liquide and is an industrial processor of food waste located in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire. The plant has been designed to handle a wide range of waste feedstocks. Through a process called Anaerobic Digestion it utilises the waste as a raw material to create methane, which in turn is used to generate electricity and gas both of which are exported to the national grids and are 100% renewable.
We're currently searching for a Process Operator to join our team in Chipping Campden!
In this vital role, you'll ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our plant. Your responsibilities will include:
* Receiving and processing incoming waste to maximise energy output.
* Operating and maintaining equipment, including tipping trailers and conducting routine checks.
* Maintaining exceptional site cleanliness.
* Adhering to strict safety and environmental protocols.

Person specification
* Previous Operator experience and ability to work unsupervised
* Hands-on experience within agricultural / farming is desirable
* Willingness to work as a team within a manual role based in outdoors environment
* A high concern for health and safety standards
* Strong work ethic and an excellent team player
* Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
* Demonstrated high personal standards and self motivation
* Able to commit to 4 on 4 off shift pattern including weekends
* Able to commute to Chipping CampdenBefore You Apply
