Process Operator
Salary: £27,664 per annum
Location: Margam, Port Talbot
Hours: 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday (38 hours per week)
Overview
An excellent opportunity for a physically fit and hardworking Process Operator to join a busy and productive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and control equipment using gauges, control panels, and computer systems.
Weigh, batch, and load raw materials
Take samples and record data to ensure product quality.
Start up, shut down, and clean equipment
Follow strict safety procedures and report hazards or process issues.
Work as part of a team to keep production running smoothly.
Handle 25 kg drums repeatedly during daily operations
Requirements
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Valid counterbalance forklift truck accreditation
Full driving licence and access to own transport (essential)
Ability to work unsupervised and follow simple instructions
Attention to detail and strong communication skills
Physically capable of manual handling
Strong ability to multi-task effectively
