Job Description
Please see below responsisbilities - Must be able to work a conti shift 6am to 6pm & 6pm to 6am 3 on 3off
* You'll be running the single lift to make sure ingredients go up and down on time. Reporting any issues.
* Keeping all loads safe during their journey is super important.
* You'll get trained on how to operate a PPT safely and to high standards.
* Keeping the work area clear and safe is a must.
* Good communication with your team is key to hitting production targets.
* You'll use a walkie-talkie to chat with FLT drivers to get ingredients when needed.
* Opening those big 250kg drums safely (using the 'jaws of life' tool) and keeping the floor clear.
* Managing waste, making sure reusable and recycled packaging is sorted properly.
* Handling empty drum returns, securely wrapping them before they go down the lift.
* Lending a hand to the technical operators with things like pumping out drums and general tidying up.
* Sticking to a "clean as you go" policy and maintaining high standards in your area.
* Understanding your role and responsibilities, especially when it comes to health and safety.
* Being able to think on your feet and solve problems, with support of course.
* Knowing about food safety culture and standards in a food manufacturing place.
* Maintaining good personal hygiene, as expected in a food manufacturing environment.
* Participating effectively in team handovers and briefs, knowing how important communication is.
* Let us know if you have any allergies.
* Be prepared for some heavy lifting, up to 25kg.
* You'll get training on how to operate a palmatic jerry can bag lifter.
* You'll need to be okay with wearing PPE, like face goggles, in a food-safe environment.
* Cleaning duties might involve using chemicals safely (COSHH knowledge is a bonus, but not essential)
* You will be reporting into the Process ATL.
* Able to assist with making batches after a trial period, ● Test batches using lab equiptmentBefore You Apply
