Job Description
Our clients based in Halifax are looking to recruit a Process Technician to investigate and measure processes and support the development of productivity and process improvements.
Temporary ongoing role
Must have transport due to location
Responsibilities to include:
Support plant process improvement team and manage assigned basic process improvement
Support the development, implementation and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators to drive continuous improvement
Assist in identifying manufacturing best practices and positive suggestions to improve productivity and quality
Ensure quality standards are achieved and consistently maintained
Conduct plant assessments and margin improvement processes to identify improvement opportunities
Work with the Mill team to focus on machine stops and set ups, conduct scrap studies, S.M.E.D system to improve productivity
Work with Technical Manager and Quality & Environmental Manager to identify/qualify/implement customer focused improvements
Ensure safe working practices are developed and maintained within area of responsibility
Encourage the reporting of ‘near misses’ and hazard identificationsBefore You Apply
