We’re working with a well-established food manufacturing company based in the Dingwall area, known for its commitment to quality and sustainable practices. They are currently looking to recruit a Processing Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of their processing department.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise primary processing operations to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services.

Manage and maintain accurate processing paperwork and administrative records.
*
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and internal policies, including risk assessments and issue reporting.
*
Support the Processing Manager in achieving optimal operational performance by efficiently utilising people and plant resources, while maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
*
Act as the main point of contact on the factory floor between staff and management, contributing to a positive and professional working environment.
*
Assist in ensuring all processing activities meet required product specifications, quality expectations, and food safety standards.
*
Provide leadership cover for the Processing Manager in their absence to ensure continuity in operations.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
*
Proven experience in a production supervisory role, ideally within a food manufacturing environment.
*
Background in primary processing (e.g., salmon or trout) is highly desirable.
*
Strong administrative skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to manage and run a processing line efficiently.

Strong communication skills with staff, management, and third-party partners.
