Role: (PMO) Administrator in procurement and engineering
Location: Stroud, Gloucester

Salary: From £32,000 - £40,000
The Role
We’re seeking a highly organised and proactive Programme Management Office (PMO) professional to support the successful delivery of our technical and commercial projects.
This is an administrative role where you could progress in the future but right now, we need someone who can do PMO duties, managing programme management software and communicate with the team and engineers on progress on building the plant, reporting on UK government funding, submitting reports and investigating procurement on materials.
Reporting to the Engineering Programme Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring clear project tracking, documentation, and coordination across multiple workstreams.
This is a hands-on role with excellent scope for growth. You’ll work closely with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to strengthen our project systems and processes and help drive delivery as we scale.
PMO experience to hit the ground running is key and having an electrical and Construction experience is secondary.

* Project Coordination: Support the scheduling, and execution of cross-functional projects, with a focus on engineering development timelines.
* Project Planning: Build and maintain the project and programme plans assisting the project managers
* Tracking & Reporting: Maintain project tracking along with schedules and dashboards to monitor progress, identify risks, and support weekly/monthly reporting cycles.
* Documentation & Governance: Manage project documentation (e.g., action logs, meeting notes, risk registers, Gantt charts), ensuring consistency and version control.
* Risk & Issue Management: Track project risks and issues, follow up on mitigation actions, and escalate concerns as needed.
* Team Coordination: Liaise with technical and non-technical teams to support resource planning and ensure milestones are clearly communicated and delivered.
* Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of PMO tools and processes to enhance visibility, accountability, and efficiency.
* Grant & Funding Support: Assist with reporting to public sector or grant funders in collaboration with the Engineering Programme Manager and Business Development team
