Anderson Knight are delighted to be recruiting for a Procurement & Quality Assistant to support tender submissions, supplier engagement, and quality management processes. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-focused, and confident working with documents, deadlines, and multiple stakeholders.
Roles and responsibilities:
* Assisting with procurement activities, including preparing bids and tender documents.
* Coordinating the submission process and ensuring compliance with requirements.
* Maintaining quality records and supporting audits.
* Helping improve systems, processes, and documentation across the business.
* Collaborate with internal teams to gather accurate and relevant information for submissions.
* Ensure all bids meet client requirements, company standards, and deadlines.
* Maintain and update quality management systems, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Assist with internal audits and monitoring processes to track performance and ensure continual improvement.
* Liaise with departments to ensure quality assurance procedures are implemented consistently.
* Maintain accurate documentation relating to quality and compliance activities.
* Assist in preparing prequalification documents and related paperwork.
* Organise and maintain bid and quality documentation, both digital and physical.
What you’ll bring:
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Experience in procurement, bids, or quality administration (preferred, but not essential).
* Confidence with Microsoft Office and document management.
* A proactive, adaptable approach to a varied workload.
Desirable:
* Experience within construction, civil engineering, or a related industry.
* Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001.
* Knowledge of tender portals and electronic submission systems.
* Understanding of quality management processes and industry standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with bid management software is desirable.
* Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
