We are seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee and optimise procurement strategies within the FMCG industry. This role is based in Barnsley and requires expertise in managing supply chains and sourcing processes. Description
The role of Procurement Manager will be responsible for:
Manage procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships to guarantee quality and timely delivery.
Analyse market trends to identify new procurement opportunities and risks.
Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
Monitor and control budgets, ensuring compliance with financial targets.
Implement and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency.
Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
Prepare reports and present data-driven insights to senior management.Profile
A successful Procurement Manager should have:
Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the FMCG industry.
