SALARY: Up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience + great benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage day to day supply chain activities.
The Opportunity:
Our client is a global supplier that manufactures logistics systems and they are seeking a candidate with knowledge of material handling systems along with a comprehensive understanding of supply chain, procurement and logistics.

Role profile:
* To deliver a sustainable procurement service, including efficient and effective customer service & external supplier performance.
* Development and focus on a procurement strategy.
* Overseeing 'Requests for Quotations' and assessing submissions.
* Management of subcontractor contracts, budgets and payments.
* Management of subcontractor change.
* Cost comparisons for suppliers.
* Management of Supply Chain Coordinator.
* Establishment of effective policies and processes.
* Project procurement & logistics in co-operation with Project Managers.
* To ensure that project materials are delivered to the correct location and on time, at the best cost.
Person profile:
* Hold a CIPS qualification.
* Strong negotiator.
* Analytical.
* Excellent relationship management skills
* Strong Communication.
* Risk management.
* Strategic at sourcing supplies.
* Financial and commercial skills.
* Strong Leadership.
* Leads with a long-term perspective.
