Your Role:
As the Procurement Manager, you will be a key player within the Procurement function, driving the strategy and development of a best-in-class procurement organisation. Your expertise and fresh perspectives will be invaluable in enhancing Managed Laboratory Services (MLS) procurement and ensuring excellence in supplier management.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement "source to contract" processes to achieve value for money.
Manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring high standards of quality and service.
Identify new products and innovative solutions to enhance customer experiences.
Negotiate robust contracts with clear SLAs and KPIs.
Conduct thorough spend and market analysis to forecast cost variations and market changes.
Manage and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
Drive continuous improvement in procurement practises and processes.
Who You Are:
A skilled communicator with over 3 years of procurement experience in similar roles.
A dynamic, self-reliant individual who thrives in challenging situations.
Confident, articulate, and tenacious with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
Financially savvy with strong commercial awareness and a willingness to coach others.
Curious and eager to develop your skills in a performance-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
A university degree is preferred (ideally in Procurement or Supply Chain Management).
MCIPS qualification or working towards it is a plus.
Proficiency in English is essential; additional foreign language skills are an advantage.
