Develop and implement procurement strategies for the technology category.
Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies across a complex businesses the financial services sector.
Manage the entire procurement lifecycle for software products and services, including sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier selection, and performance management.
Partner with IT and business units to understand software needs, usage patterns, and budgetary constraints.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure value and performance are optimised.
Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
Analyse market trends to inform purchasing decisions and strategies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement goals with business objectives.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or risks proactively.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to relevant regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with IT, legal, finance senior stakeholders to drive value, mitigate risk, and enable business growth through effective software sourcing.Profile
A successful for this Procurement Manager - Software position should have:
Experience in procurement, specifically within the technology category specifically across software/cloud/saas spend.
Experience with TPRM and risk mitigation.
Strong knowledge of the Financial Services industry and its procurement needs.
Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and negotiations.
Ability to analyse market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Familiarity with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.Job Offer
