Responsibilities:

Provide significant design and engineering input into various projects.
*
Create detailed product designs.
*
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the R&D department.
*
Represent the company in internal and external stakeholder meetings.
*
Ensure adherence to new processes, methodologies, and best practices.
*
Focus on design accuracy, error rectification, and cost control.
*
Participate in Business Improvement Projects (BIPs).
Requirements:
*
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
*
Degree or relevant qualification in design or engineering.
*
Proficiency in CAD modeling software and document control.
*
Strong understanding of loads, forces, and complex assemblies.
*
Experience in product development from concept to production.
*
Knowledge of plastic injection molding, sheet metalwork, fabricated assemblies, and rotational molding.
*
Familiarity with a range of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
*
Ability to produce engineering drawings and design schemes.
*
Experience in design for both high-volume, low-cost manufacture and low-volume, high-value products.
*
Good hand model-making skills for proof of principle models.
*
Strong understanding of business demands.
*
Experience collaborating across departments and with external suppliers.
