Job Description
Our client is a globally respected designer and manufacturer of innovative furniture solutions for high-tech and office environments. With origins in the trading, command and control room sectors, they have evolved into a recognised supplier of stylish and functional workstations for modern offices - and they’re looking for a talented Product Designer to join their team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Sales, Project Management and Installation teams, taking projects from initial brief right through to on-site installation. You’ll be part of a collaborative, skilled Design Team, producing all necessary design and technical documentation, and supporting Project Managers to ensure smooth project delivery. This is an on-site based role.
Responsibilities will include:
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure project success
* Producing high-quality designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
* Working methodically to manage project workflows and deadlines
* Carrying out quality control checks and attending snagging meetings
Skills and Experience expected from the Product Designer:
* 1-3 years’ experience as a Product Designer
* Organised, methodical, and detail-oriented approach to projects
* Knowledge (and ideally experience) of creating BoM drawings
* Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (Keyshot or other rendering software is a plus)

* Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 (depending on experience)
