Product Manager - Manufacturing | Colchester | Up to £50,000 | Early finish on Fridays

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Product Manager to join a manufacturing team. In this role, you'll drive the development, improvement, and lifecycle management of a diverse product range, working closely with engineering, production, and commercial teams. This position is ideal if you're looking for autonomy, challenge, and the opportunity to make a real impact on product strategy and delivery.

In this role, you will take ownership of product planning and roadmap execution, ensuring products meet market demands and customer expectations. You'll analyse feedback, monitor performance, and implement improvements to maximise quality and commercial success. You'll also support new product introductions (NPI) and coordinate handovers across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead product planning, roadmap definition, and lifecycle management across manufacturing product lines
Analyse customer feedback, market trends, and operational insights to guide product improvements
Work closely with engineering and production teams to define specifications and update product documentation
Support NPI (New Product Introduction) processes and coordinate cross-functional handovers
Monitor quality, performance, and commercial success of existing products and implement enhancement plans 

The Ideal Candidate:

Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in an engineering or technical discipline
Experience managing product lifecycles within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate customer and market insights into practical improvements
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Confident user of IT systems, with experience in product documentation and project coordination
