Product Manager
Location: Cambridgeshire - Hybrid with travel
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + car allowance
Are you a produce professional with a passion for perfection and a deep understanding of product quality from across the full supply chain?
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to take ownership of the technical and quality agenda our client's customer, ensuring the products consistently exceed expectations.
What you'll do as the Product Manager:
As a key member of the Technical and Commercial teams, you'll:
Lead the technical and quality performance for the category, ensuring all products are safe, legal, and meet the highest retailer and consumer standards.
Act as the primary technical contact, building strong relationships, leading reviews, and communicating performance updates with clarity and confidence.
Manage supplier performance and seasonal transitions, ensuring smooth continuity of quality and availability across UK and imported supply chains.
Conduct regular grower and packhouse visits, championing quality, compliance, and sustainability from orchard to dispatch.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, supporting growers and packhouses to enhance consistency, shelf life, and product presentation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and commercial teams to deliver customer excellence and category growth.
Represent the business at customer meetings and industry events, providing insight and technical expertise on product performance and market trends.
Champion the commitment to integrity, innovation, and best-in-class produce supply, ensuring we remain a trusted partner to both growers and retailers.
What you'll need as the Product Manager:
Proven track record in a product or technical manager role working closely with major retailers
Own transport is essential due to the travel required in this role
Full UK working rights, no visas are available
