Job Description

Technical Product Owner Hybrid - Occasional office presence in East Sussex . (Must have worked within financial services). Responsible for leading the delivery of digital and cloud-based changes. The ingestion of data, on to azure, within an agile delivery environment. Prioritise product backlog, making sure development is aligned with strategy and built for scalability, resilience, and performance in a modern cloud environment. Act as the voice of the customer, translating complex requirements into clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria. You will have a clear understanding of strategy which will enable you to prioritise your team’s backlog, giving the team clarity on what they are working on and why it is important. You will actively contribute in your team’s agile ceremonies to ensure that digital and cloud platform priorities are clearly communicated and understood. Collaboration with stakeholders is key to gather and validate requirements, ensuring traceability from business needs through to tested solutions. You will create and obtain approval documentation for all relevant change initiatives. You will support your team through the full lifecycle testing, including One-At-a- Time regression, and deployment readiness, with a focus on cloud-native reliability and digital experience quality, being essential. Ensure that downstream impacts of change are identified and communicated across product teams and technical stakeholders which is a vital part of the role. * Delivery: The prioritisation of features, articulating the business value to the scrum team. Revisiting the benefits once the effort is understood. The creation of high level requirements for the scrum team and approval of lower level requirements. Reviewing test output and signing off in-track testing. Preparing for release by running pre-release demos. Completing operational acceptance testing and supporting release testing. * Corrective and Preventative Action: Review and update RAID logs and Post Implementation Reviews, supporting activity which will help risk events to be promptly closed. You will use appropriate governance and controls to identify, document and escalate risks early and prevent issues. Experience * Experience in project delivery roles, with a strong track record of successful project delivery as a Product Owner. * Understand cloud and infrastructure deliveries as well as application. * Articulate and be able to translate business outcomes to team members and equally take technical solutions, translating them into business terminology.Salary £Neg. To 20% bonus, £5k car, to 10% matching pension, 27 days hols, private medical/life insurance
