Product Quality Engineer
Location: Aldershot / Basingstoke
Salary: £35,000 £45,000 bonus (DOE)
Are you a passionate Product Quality Engineer who takes pride in delivering excellence? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking technology manufacturer known for its innovation, quality, and people-first culture.
Were looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment someone who doesnt just follow processes but improves them. Youll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest standards across complex hardware, PCBA assembly, and finished product testing.
What Youll Be Doing
Work closely with production to ensure goods conform to specification through inspections, FAIRs, SCARs, and concessions.
Drive problem-solving initiatives to identify root causes and complete CAPAs.
Manage customer returns, lead investigations, and ensure swift, effective resolutions.
Support customer manufacturing visits and contract reviews.
Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate and implement process improvements.
Research and support the introduction of new processes and equipment to enhance product quality.
What Were Looking For
Experience in PCBA manufacturing is hugely desirable
Working knowledge of IPC Standards (IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001) would be superb
Background in a quality-focused environment
Strong attention to detail and a right first time mindset
Excellent communication and customer liaison skills
Experience with AS9100 standards would be advantageous
Occasional travel between sites may be required.
