Job Description

Job Title: Product Support Coordinator (Engines / Rolling Stock) Location: South of Birmingham territory - covering the region down to around Salisbury Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time, 45 hours per week (no overtime) Start: ASAP Package includes: Company van All expenses paid Paid on-call rota (every other weekend, paid regardless of callout) Role Overview: We are looking for a Product Support Coordinator to join our team, covering a region from south of Birmingham down to Salisbury. This is a field-based role supporting engines and rolling stock across multiple customer sites, combining technical support with coordination of service delivery. You'll be responsible for ensuring products operate efficiently through their full lifecycle - from installation and servicing to warranty and technical support. The role is hands-on and involves some travel, but you'll be fully supported with vehicle, expenses, and a structured on-call allowance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and deliver product installations, servicing, and support activity. Coordinate with the Project Management team to ensure work is completed on time and within budget. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards. Provide a reliable point of contact for customers and handle any issues or complaints professionally. Use lean practices (such as 5S) to drive efficiency and improvements in support delivery. What we're looking for: Essential qualifications: ONC or NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) Full UK driving licence Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills Comfortable using MS Excel and compiling technical reports Desirable qualifications: HNC/HND or NVQ Level 4 Project Management or NEBOSH/IOSH certification Key traits: Flexible and hands-on with a proactive approach Confident working independently and leading tasks across multiple sites Strong focus on customer service and delivering high-quality support Rolling stock experience. Additional Info: Accommodation is provided when working away on-call is scheduled every other weekend and paid regardless of callout
