Job Description
Thrive Personnel Ltd are looking for experienced production assembly opeartives for our client based in Bradford.
Purpose of Job:
To manufacture and assemble components for beds using various woodcutting machinery and hand tools.
Main responsibilities and accountabilities:
To perform production & assembly duties using various woodcutting machinery and hand tools, including making / repairing of pallets.
Carry out basic labouring tasks as directed, including wrapping & strapping
Reduce scrap to meeting targets.
Ensure quality standards are met.
Work with other teams to ensure order schedules are met and quality products delivered.
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working area
Assist in the housekeeping and general cleanliness of all areas
Manual Handling, lifting wood of varying weights.
General Responsibilities:
To adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
To comply with all H&S instruction and work in a safe manner at all times
Be pro-active in seeking to improve current processes and procedures
Work in other areas of the business as and when required
