Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Production / Assembly Operative for our client based in Snetterton. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company, working as part of a supportive team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
You will play an important role in the production, assembly, and refurbishment of high-quality furniture products.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:30.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out assessment, repair, and refurbishment of furniture, including chairs, sofas, pelmets, and headboards
Support production by assembling furniture and assisting with manufacturing and upholstery tasks
Ensure all work meets required specifications, quality standards, and production targets
Maintain a clean and organised workshop at the end of each shift
Check and improve packaging to ensure items are secure for dispatch
Follow production schedules set by supervisors and take responsibility for your performance
Identify and report potential issues proactively
Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and carry out equipment checks
Support general warehouse operations and maintain company standards
What we’re looking for:
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work well as part of a team
Good attention to detail
Previous experience in production, assembly, or furniture work is advantageous
This is a temp to perm opportunity, providing the chance to secure a long-term position for the right candidate.
