Job Description

Hexwired has partnered with a company who are a leading company in the electronics sector. They are looking for a Production Assembly Technician who will be hand soldering surface mount components to PCB’s. Although you will be working in a team you should be able to work under your own steam.

Key skills required for this role:

  * Experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs) of various sizes, such as approximately 10mm², 25mm x 45mm, and 18mm x 190mm.

  * Familiarity with handling fine solder wire, typically around 0.38mm in diameter.

  * Proficient in using precision tools, including fine-tipped tweezers, scalpels, and small wire cutters.

The salary for this Production Assembly Technician role will be up to £30,000 per annum. The company are rapidly expanding and are at the forefront of their industry.
