Production Assistant
Telford

Temporary to Permanent
Full PPE provided 
£25,500 to start

Job role / duties

•Pack and prepare goods according to specifications and customer orders and ensure all packing activities meet quality standards, safety requirements, and production schedules.
•Verify batch numbers, expiry dates, and product codes. 
•Conduct visual quality checks and ensure packaging standards are met. 
•Follow SOPs and quality management procedures for all packing activities. 
•Maintain accurate packing records and batch documentation. 
•Support ISO audit activities and maintain compliance with quality standards.
•Follow environmental procedures and support ISO 14001 compliance in packing area. 
•Collect materials and packaging from stores. 
•Move packed products to storage or dispatch areas. 
•Stack and store products safely. 
•Operate forklifts or pallet trucks (if certified). 
•Assist with changeovers, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment. 
•Support stock takes and inventory checks. 
•Complete end-of-shift cleaning and housekeeping. 
•Complete packing checklists and batch records accurately. 
•Record production output and wastage. 
•Maintain traceability documentation

To be considered for this role you MUST:

•Have proven attention to detail and accuracy
•Be able to follow written/verbal instructions
•Possess good numeracy and literacy
•Be physically fit due to manual handling
•Be a team player
•Want to learn new skills 
•Have experience in a warehouse environment 
•Possess basic computer skills
