Job Description
Our client based in Southampton is a leading manufacturer of power & electrical equipment are looking to recruit a Production Assistant. A fulfilling and rewarding career within our client’s production team is on offer to the correct candidate.
Hours:
7.30am – 4pm, Monday to Friday with no evening, weekend or bank holiday working.
Initial duties will include:
Operation of laser label and other machines/power tools
Maintain a clean working and safe environment
Ability to perform material handling tasks effectively while adhering to safety standards
Assist with stock control and process as per internal procedures
Assisting with general duties within the branch as required
Previous experience in manufacturing desirable
Assisting with collections/deliveries as required
Key Skills:
Must be a team player with a genuine enthusiasm to contribute to the company and staff
Ability to plan and organise work
Strong attention to detail
UK Full Driving Licence
