Production Assistant – Scunthorpe
£26,000-£27,000 DOE | Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm | Pet-Friendly Office
A leading organisation in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Production Assistant to join their team in Scunthorpe. This full-time, office-based role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and enjoys working in a pet-friendly workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain inventory levels and manage purchase orders (SAP experience beneficial)
* Schedule production efficiently to meet tight deadlines
* Liaise with suppliers and staffing agencies to support operational continuity
* Monitor agency staff hours and assist with inductions
* Track staff absence and maintain relevant documentation
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business
* Provide cover for production management during periods of leave
About You:
* Previous experience in an admin or coordination role within manufacturing
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Confident with Excel and comfortable working with data
* Detail-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities
* Able to communicate effectively across teams and levels of the business
