CREM Recruitment are recruiting a number of Warehouse Operatives based in Newmarket to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. Our client is a well-established name within the logistics industry and offers excellent training and career progression.
Pay Rate:
* Training Week (Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00): £12.60 per hour
* Ongoing Shift (7 on / 7 off): £12.60 per hour + £0.60 premium (paid upon full week completion)
Duties will include:
* Load produce into trailers by hand
* Sort, stack, and move products to designated storage or dispatch areas
* Inspect goods for damage and report any issues
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment
* Adhere to all health and safety procedures to prevent injuries and ensure food safety compliance
* Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and productivity targets
Skills and Experience required:
* Ability to lift items weighing 25kg or more regularly
* Previous experience in a warehouse or manual handling role preferred
* Comfortable working in chilled conditions (between 3°C and 10°C)
* Must be able to speak and read English fluently
* Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
