Production Controller
Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear
Salary highly negotiable for the right candidate with experience
An opportunity to join an exciting organisation as a Production Controller.
The purpose of the role you will be responsible is to plan and drive daily/weekly workload within the Kitting area as outlined by the project schedule. Ensure parts and assemblies are requisitioned to ensure constant and reliable parts supply for the Production area. Provide technical diagnostics and resolutions for your Production area. Work closely with the assembly and kitting team to ensure systems are working as efficiently as possible.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensuring compliance with security and safety regulations and quality standards for the assembly and kitting operation.
Providing technical support to the kitting team and addressing technical issues.
Requisitioning parts and assemblies and ensuring accurate stock control and parts demand.
Collaborating with cross functional teams & identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Planning Production and ensuring adherence to it, able to adapt plan promptly & effectively when necessary.
Reviewing end to end process and refining operation layout to improve flow and efficiency.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Foundation degree or HND qualified in Mechanical engineering or related field.
Proven experience in production/manufacturing/project engineering.
Ability to suggest & implement improvements.
Proficient excel skills.
Experience of working with ERP systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented with a focus on delivering an efficient and high-quality production process from goods into product out.
Strong problem-solving abilities and amble to implement solutions promptly.Competitive remuneration package offered.
