Job Title: Production Co-Ordinator
Hours: Monday to Thursday – 08.00 to 18.00 & Friday – 08.00 to 16.30 (30-minute lunch break each day)
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Holidays: 33 per annum includes statutory holidays
Location: Oldham Area
Role Overview:
The Production Coordinator plays a key role in our fast-paced production office, overseeing customer enquiries, production planning, purchasing, and transport logistics. This position requires close collaboration across all departments to ensure efficient production workflows and timely job delivery.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced mechanical engineer with at least 15 years of industry experience, including time spent in a production coordination role.
Requirements:
* 15+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering, ideally in precision engineering
* At least 2 years in production planning
* Solid background in manual and CNC machining
* Fabrication and sheet metal experience preferred but not essential
* Broad industry exposure (e.g., food, beverage, paper, textiles, pharmaceuticals) is a plus
* Strong communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systemsBefore You Apply
