Job Title: Production Engineer

Location: Saffron Walden, Essex

Salary: £negotiable DOE

Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Full time, Permanent

Sector: Manufacturing

Our client based in Saffron Walden is seeking a Production Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

As a Production Engineer your duties will include:

  * Designing/implementing jigs, tools to improve manufacturing efficiency

  * Providing support across departments to resolve manufacturing issues

  * Managing 3D printing, supporting equipment maintenance

  * Leading engineering meetings and project tasks

  * Produce technical drawings on SolidWorks, liaising with customers when required

  * Troubleshoot assemblies.

An ideal candidate for the Production Engineer will have:

  * 5+ years experience in a similar role

  * Good understanding of quality systems

  * Strong communications skills

  * Experience with producing drawings in SolidWorks

  * IT literacy as well as ERP experience.
