Production Engineer Required!
On behalf of a well-established manufacturing business, we are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to support new production plans and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality and operational performance. The role requires strong technical ability, including experience with pressurised systems, and a hands-on approach to production support and problem solving.
Package:
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm & Friday 8am - 1pm
25 days holiday + bank holidays
£40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
Company pension schemeProduction Engineer - Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on engineering support to the production team to ensure smooth, safe and efficient manufacturing operations
Support and maintain pressurised systems and associated production equipment within a production environment
Assist in the setup, commissioning and optimisation of new production plans and processes
Analyse and improve manufacturing performance by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality and output
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across production, focusing on waste reduction and process optimisation
Support the introduction of new equipment, tooling and process changes, ensuring smooth integration into production
Ensure all engineering and production activities are carried out in line with health & safety and quality standardsThis is not an exhaustive list, and may be adjusted to reflect the changing requirements of the business
Production Engineer - Requirements:
Essential: Hands-on experience working with pressurised systems in an industrial or production setting
Proven experience as a Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrable experience in manufacturing process improvement and efficiency optimisation
Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement practical engineering solutions
