The Role
We're looking for a Production Technician to join a growing technical manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll be involved in the assembly, testing and preparation of specialist products, ensuring that every item meets the required quality standards before being distributed to customers.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is practical, detail-oriented and technically minded, with an interest in developing their skills within a structured and collaborative manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components and electronic assemblies to required specifications
Carry out soldering and other basic electrical assembly tasks
Work closely with colleagues across the production process to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
Complete and maintain accurate production records and test results
Carry out basic testing and quality checks on completed products
Prepare and pack finished products for distribution
Use a range of hand tools, equipment and production aids
Follow established processes, procedures and health & safety requirements
The Candidate
Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work
Has previous experience with soldering, electrical assembly or similar practical work - or is keen to learn
Is comfortable using computers, including email and basic Excel
Has good communication skills and works well as part of a team
Can work effectively on repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Is practical, reliable and keen to develop their technical skills
Has an interest in engineering, manufacturing or technical production

08:30-17:00 but flexible, ensuring 37 hours per week
