Production Engineer
Staff Power Group is recruiting for a Production Engineer on behalf of an industry-leading engineering client in Kirkbymoorside.
The Role
Provide timely technical support between operations and engineering, ensuring a smooth transition from design to manufacture. Focus on improving production processes, methods, and documentation to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
* Design fixtures, tooling, SOPs, and training materials
* Produce engineering drawings (3D SolidWorks / 2D AutoCAD)
* Plan and support pre-production activities
* Review new parts for manufacturability
* Lead process improvements and technical training
* Support layout planning, cost analysis, and troubleshooting
Candidate Requirements
* HND/Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing
* Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
* Strong understanding of production methods
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* Continuous improvement mindset
