Production Engineer
Location Kirkbymoorside
Hours: 37 per week (Mon–Thurs 8:30–4:30, Fri 8:30–4:00, flexi-time available)
* Overtime: Paid at time and a half (Mon–Sat) and double time (Sun)
* Holidays: 25 days + 8 bank holidays
* Benefits: 5% pension, private healthcare, life insurance (2x salary)
An experienced Production Engineer is required to join a leading manufacturing business. You’ll play a key role in bridging design and production, ensuring smooth introduction of new products while driving improvements across existing processes.
What you’ll do:
* Support production with technical expertise.
* Design fixtures, tooling, and create CAD drawings.
* Lead pre-production activities and feasibility reviews.
* Drive process improvements and efficiency gains.
* Provide training and technical guidance to operators.
What we’re looking for:
* HND/Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing.
* 5+ years’ experience in an engineering/manufacturing role.
* Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
* Knowledge of machining, welding, heat treatment, NDT etc.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
