Production Group Leader | £30,000 | Days | Fabrication / Modular Build | Coleshill
I’m supporting a fantastic client in Coleshill who are expanding their production team and need a Production Group Leader to take ownership of day-to-day output, performance, and team engagement. If you're a strong fabricator or mechanical assembly leader ready for the next step – or already managing a team and want to be part of a growing project – this could be ideal for you.
The job in a nutshell:

Salary: £30,000 per annum
*
Full-time: Monday–Thursday 6am–2pm, Friday 6am–1pm (39 hrs)
*
Permanent contract with long-term progression
*
Managing a small team in fabrication/assembly
*
Supporting production, safety, quality, and output
Your key responsibilities:
*
Lead a small production team in a busy modular build environment
*
Monitor and improve performance, efficiency, and quality standards
*
Plan workloads and communicate with other departments
*
Train and develop staff and maintain a safe working environment
*
Be hands-on when needed – it’s a team effort
What we’re looking for:
*
A strong background in fabrication or modular assembly
*
Experience in leading, supervising, or mentoring others on the shop floor
*
Understanding of health & safety, lean principles, and KPIs
*
Confidence in reading drawings and managing schedules
