Working Hours: Day shift Job Description: * Supervise daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved. * Lead and motivate production teams, ensuring high levels of engagement, accountability, and performance. * Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output rates, scrap levels, downtime, and on-time delivery. * Analyze production data to identify trends and root causes of inefficiencies or quality issues. * Drive a culture of continuous improvement by initiating and supporting lean manufacturing initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction). * Collaborate with engineering and maintenance to implement process improvements and equipment upgrades. * Ensure all processes and procedures comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards. * Provide hands-on training and support for staff to enhance skills and maintain high operational standards. * Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports, downtime logs, and material usage. * Participate in regular reviews with management to align production goals with business objectives and improvement plans. Skills & Experience: * Proven experience in a Production Lead, Operations Lead, or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment. * Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of Supervisors and Area Managers across a large-scale operation (circa 90 staff). * Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills with a track record of building high-performing teams. * Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in plastics production (e.g., injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding). * Experience in driving process improvements and implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen).
