Staithes Road, Preston, Hull, HU12 8TB
£29,409 per annum
4 on 4 off | 05:30 - 18:00 | Average 38.5 hours per week
A leading UK food manufacturer supplying premium products to major grocery retailers and food service providers is seeking an experienced Production Line Leader to join their growing team at a high-capacity site near Hull. This facility is undergoing significant investment to expand its capabilities and increase automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead your production line team to achieve daily targets and key metrics.
Maximise line efficiency, product quality, and use of labour and equipment.
Perform pre-operational checks and ensure high standards of hygiene and compliance.
Monitor break times, maintain accurate records, and report deviations.
Collaborate with QAs and other departments to resolve issues promptly.
Coach and support operators to meet quality standards and line performance goals.
Understand and react to hourly performance vs. plan.
✅ Ideal Candidate:
Background in food manufacturing or FMCG production.
Proven team leadership skills within a factory or production environment.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
A strong focus on safety, quality, and performance.
