Job Description
We are looking for hardworking and reliable Production / Machine Operatives to join a busy finishing department within a leading textiles manufacturer. This role involves supporting production processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and carrying out repetitive heavy lifting tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
* Operate machinery and equipment in the finishing department.
* Handle and move textiles, including repetitive heavy lifting.
* Monitor production lines, ensuring work is completed to specification.
* Carry out quality checks to maintain high standards.
* Keep the working area clean, tidy, and safe in line with health and safety guidelines.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets.
Job Requirements
* Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or textiles environment is desirable but not essential (full training will be provided).
* Ability to carry out physically demanding, repetitive work.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Good reliability and timekeeping.
* Flexible to work rotating shifts.
Hours of Work & Benefits
* Mon – Friday 6am – 2:15pm / 2pm – 10:15pm
Weekly rotating shifts (early / late – no nights or weekends).
Temporary ongoing work with potential for long-term opportunities.
On-the-job training provided.
Work as part of a friendly and supportive team.
