Job Description

Poduction Manager The Production Manager’s role is to ensure stability, integrity, and efficient operations of all plant personnel; be proficient in production planning and resource management while also possessing strong teamwork-oriented leadership, communication, supervision and problem-solving abilities to guide their team of employees and drive operational efficiency. Responsibilities: * Advanced planning, delegation, coordination and oversight of daily plant manufacturing operations. * Clearly communicate and actively listen to team members. * Inspire and motivate team members to achieve their goals by fostering a positive and productive work environment while creating an enduring culture of team success. * Effectively manage resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimize current and future production needs. * Utilize experience and historical data to identify opportunities for success, predictable issues, and make informed decisions. * Collaborate as a member of the management team to achieve all the business goals. * Follow corporate guidelines to administer the performance reviews and compensation program. * Participate in weekly production schedule meetings, monthly safety committee meetings and quarterly ISO Quality System Management Meetings. * Recruit, hire and support training for most qualified candidates. * Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications * Chemistry, Chemicals based Degree * Management experience within the manufacturing industry. * Proven leadership and development of manufacturing operations. * Excellent communication skills; written and verbal. * Teamwork oriented. * Proficiency in Microsoft Applications Required Skills * Ability to develop and implement the best long-term decisions. * Able to adjust to changing circumstances and new challenges. * Build strong relationships with team members, colleagues and suppliers. * Prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. * Attention to and detail oriented. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Understands how to optimize production schedules to meet schedule expectations while minimizing costs and lead times without sacrificing quality
