The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily operations on a busy food production site, managing production teams and Team Leaders to ensure production targets, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing daily operations on a 4 on 4 off day shift rotation
*
Coordinating workflow with Team Leaders to optimize line performance
*
Shift planning and resource allocation
*
Team management, recruitment, and onboarding
*
Ensuring compliance with quality, health & safety, and environmental standards
*
Leading continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste
*
Conducting risk assessments and incident investigations
The Person:
*
Proven experience in a food production environment as a Production Manager or Production Supervisor ready to step up
*
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*
Passionate about sustainability and contributing to a company with strong environmental values
*
Ambitious and motivated to drive performance improvements and operational excellence
